Scentiments: The Ultimate Scents

One thing a lot of people forget about in their daily routine is that final mist of perfume before they start their day. I have learned to love perfume and the fact you can instantly smell fragrant and fresh in one spray seems so magical to me. It is safe to say that I am particular (to say the least) about which perfume I wear. I don't like super strong scents, but I also don't like too fruity or sweet. I like to smell almost fresh but also musky, although not to the point I remind you of bathroom spray (gross). In my spare time one of my ultimate favourite things to do is go to a department store to smell perfumes (yes, don't judge). Although I leave the store with a migraine, it's completely worth the knowledge of which perfumes I add to my wish list and which ones I add to my blacklist. If I'm being honest, not many perfumes make the cut for me, but I do have my personal favourites.

Burberry Brit Sheer Eau de Toilette This perfume, which I actually got given as a gift, has turned out to be one of the nicest scents I've come across. Always being a fan of Burberry, this scent does the whole brand justice. The ingredients of Burberry Brit Sheer are Bright Yuzu, Pineapple Leaves, Litchi, Mandarin, Grapes, Pink Peony, Peach Blossom, Nashi, White Musk and Creamy Amyris Woods. The perfect balance of the floral contents mixed with the musky ones creates a scent not too overly floral but still very light and youthful.

Chanel Chance Eau de Toilette Twist and Spray Chanel is known for it's No. 5 scent, but I personally never thought too highly of it. Chanel Chance on the other hand smells heavenly to me. The Chanel Chance trio includes Chance, Chance Eau Fraîche and Chance Eau Tendre. My favourite is the original Chance. The ingredients include Citrus Accord, Hyacinth, Iris, Jasmine, Pink Pepper, Patchouli, Vetiver, Amber, White Musk and Vanilla. The White Musk and Vanilla are mostly predominant with the fruitier ingredients lacing the scent. What I love most about this perfume is the travel size. It comes in a twist and spray bottle with replaceable 20ml refills. It slips right into your hand bag so you can refresh your heavenly Chanel scent throughout the day. I especially enjoy this bottle when travelling as stuffing a glass bottle in your suitcase in-between scarves and sweaters only ends in anxiety that it's going to crack and your precious liquids are going to leak. Chance is the scent to travel with.

Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline This scent is probably the strongest scent I wear. This is the one I seem to find lingers on my clothes even after the day is done, although that is never a bad thing with Bvlgari. The ingredients in this perfume include Bamboo, Nashi, Lotus Flower and Balsa Wood. Although the ingredients do seem a little harsh, there's a definite airiness and lightness to the strength. It's very feminine but also bold. It's the ultimate juxtaposition which is the main reason I love it as much as I do.
