We Found Wonderland

I'm always ready to have some fun and try new things, so I recently decided to spend the day at a few galleries in Canberra, Australia. The day started at the National Museum of Australia where I saw some super cool art and ate some super delicious jam donuts.

After sitting outside the museum eating donuts and drinking coffee, I went to the National Portrait Gallery. Portraits are one of my favourite forms of painting and this was uhh-mazing to see.

After seeing the portraits, I went to the National Gallery of Australia, which was the most incredible part of the day (apart from the donuts, of course). With so many amazing exhibits, the most wonderful part was James Turrell's Within without Skyspace. Standing inside as well as looking from the outside truly showcased a work of art.

Made completely of salt...!?

Wonderland by Tay Swiz was definitely playing in my mind

Seeing such amazing artwork made me feel so inspired to go to other galleries and discover as much art as I can!

Tell me. Which galleries do you recommend? Like, comment, and share on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
