Happiest of Holidays

Although the ultimate Grinch, this holiday season has been a joyful one. It has been spent with my entire Italian family, eating copious amounts of Italian homemade food and being spoiled by all the Italians themselves. To say I'm lucky is an understatement, as all of the material as well as intangible love I've been given is way too much to deal with.
Our menu has included typical Italian foods such as lasagne, meatballs, seafood salad, eggplant parmigiana, as well as the typical Christmas ham and turkey, with a million and one sides and salads. Then we started with the desserts... traditional Italian Mumma's Cake, Zuppa Inglese, and biscuits as well as trifle and many other sweets which we are still finding in the cupboards and fridges.
I was definitely swarmed with gorgeous gifts, and I'm so lucky for that. Some of my favourites were Country Road Nina Jelly Sandals, Mecca gift voucher, David Jones gift voucher and most importantly, pearl earrings from my grandmother.

Overall, I've missed blogging during this time but as you can see I've been distracted (to say the least). I'm super fortunate for all of this (even if most of the time I am overly cynical) and I hope all of you have been enjoying this time, with whatever you are doing. Enjoy the rest of the holiday season.
