Holiday in the Sun

I'm going to start off by saying a big and bold Happy New Year to you all. I hope this year is all you could dream of.

It's been a few weeks since the last blog post. I've been holidaying in one of my favourite places in Australia: Sydney, trying to find some new material to blog about and I've done a lot of shopping which leaves me dying to share with you everything I've come across. These are some of my favourite things so far:

First off, if you know me, you know I've got a real soft spot for Michael Kors. I think he's a pure genius. Although, his brand is starting to become extremely popular which leaves me with a serious issue. I can no longer obsess as much as I have in the past, as it's now way too cliche, and I can't talk about him without someone saying "who's that?" anymore. People now know who he is. (Insert pure and utter sadness here). In the end, nothing's going to stop my love for him. He'll always be in my heart.

Besides that, I purchased a pair of Michael Kors pants that I grew an emotional attachment to as soon as I saw them on the rack. The Easy Wideleg Art Deco Satin Print Pant (Navy/Mandarin) are some of the most gorgeous pants I think I've ever looked at and fortunately for me, were the last ones in the store in my size, and I can't seem to find them anywhere else, not even online. I have a true weakness for wide leg pants and I believe they are one of the most chicest articles of clothing to ever be made. I love feeling like my legs reach the private jets in the sky, which is exactly what these pants do. I also love unique, bold, colourful prints. I feel as though these pants are a contribution to the eptiome of me.

Another uh-mazing purchase I made was the Georgini Astor Cushion Cut Ring. I've had my eye on this ring for too long so I decided to hit the store... And lo and behold, the ring was even on sale, so how could I say no? Made from Clear Cubic Zirconia and Rhodium Plated 925 Sterling Silver, the dainty, sparkling, flawless aesthetic to this ring puts hearts in my eyes. It makes any hand look more fab than you thought it ever could. It's endlessly classic and super classy.

One last thing I purchased, which I love entirely, is this black and white stripe playsuit from a boutique called Get Frocked. I'm not usually one to shop at random boutiques but on the odd occassion I'll find something I like. This jumpsuit is just light and easy, but doesn't look like you haven't made an effort. It's perfect for a Summer day of shopping and lunching.

I've been having a blast tanning at the beach, drinking endless amounts of tea (English Breakfast of course) and most importantly, shopping. Holidays are nearly over but these magical purchases make 'getting back into routine' that much easier.

Tell me. Where do you like to shop whilst you're on holidays? Comment below or on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and don't forget to share this blog post!
