Gone But Not Forgotten

After 8 long weeks, I'm finally in the peak of exams. Full of stress and binge-eating at fast food joints, I'm coming towards the end of the term! It's been an eventul one to say the least. But enough about education (I mean, who needs that? - I'm totally kidding...Maybe) and let's get back to what really matters - fashion. Duh.
During these nearly 10 weeks of having withdrawals from writing this blog, and instead writing essays, I'm devastated to even think that I haven't been shopping during this time either. This is catastrophic to me and I know what you're thinking... "Sophia hasn't been shopping?" I know, ok. I know. It's heartbreaking to me also. But there is a beacon of hope. Holidays start in two weeks and we all know what that means. I can be me again. I've become some sort of monster who stays at home and studies (what even is that?) but now I can get back to the real me, who goes shopping and blogs and spends hours on social media talking about fashion.
Although I'm not travelling anywhere these holidays as I usually do (insert sadness here), I have a lot planned with important people coming to visit. This means I can't necessarily discover any new fashion-finds in another city, but I can search for some hidden treasures in my own neighbourhood.
Uh-mazing things that have happened since I have been gone is awards show season as well as New York/London/Milan/Paris Fashion Week (I physically have hearts in my eyes). During the little amount of spare time (during the time I've been visiting what I like to call Procrastination Nation) I've had, I have been making sure to always be on top of my two favourite times of the year.
The Grammy's are my all-time favourite awards show but the fashion from the Oscars always has me dreaming I'm miraculously going to receieve an invitation next year and be able to walk the Red Carpet with my custom-made Givenchy gown, drowning in Harry Winston jewels, saying hello to George Clooney and having a laugh with Giuliana Rancic... Anyway... Some of the looks on the Red Carpet are either so right or so wrong... and here are a few of my favourites from this year:

Probably my most favourite runway was Michael Kors Fall 2015 at New York Fashion Week. I will always be a fur-lover and I feel the direction he took for this collection was something so incredibly chic and I can't help but marvel over it. I've been waiting for something so beautiful to grace the runway from Kors, for a long time, and it finally happened and I could not be more pleased. Some of the looks from the runway I uh-dore:
